.NET Software Engineer

Your main responsibilities:

  • Maintain, support, and further develop existing .NET desktop applications in combination with SQL Server.
  • Develop new software solutions using modern technologies (e.g., web applications, containerization, cloud services).
  • Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and implement business and technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Help shape and further develop the software architecture, including the selection of suitable technologies and tools.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure software quality, and optimize application performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support error analysis and troubleshooting in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
  • Actively participate in an agile development team.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously improve development processes.

We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented personality who has a sense of ownership for the solutions we engineer.

Your profile:

  • Several years of experience in development with .NET Framework and .NET 5 or higher.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, including design, querying, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
  • A good sense for IT security and data protection in the context of software development.
  • Ability to liase with internal stakeholders and strong willingness to contribute to the company's success
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI development tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in web application development with Angular
  • Basic knowledge of other programming languages such as Java and TypeScript.
  • Experience with test automation (unit, integration, UI tests) and test frameworks.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining desktop applications (e.g., WPF, WinForms)
