Front Arena Developer

We are looking for an experienced Front Arena Developer to join the Front Office Technology team of a leading financial institution in Zurich. You will play a key role in the development, enhancement and support of the Front Arena risk management platform.

We are looking for an experienced Front Arena Developer to join the Front Office Technology team of a leading financial institution in Zurich. You will play a key role in the development, enhancement and support of the Front Arena risk management platform, working closely with traders, risk teams and other business stakeholders.

Location: Central Zurich (hybrid – 1 day per week onsite)

Duration: Initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of a 6 month extension

Start Date: Immediately/ASAP

Responsibilities

• Develop, customise and support the Front Arena Risk Management platform.
• Design and implement solutions using AEL, ACM and ADFL.
• Develop robust, production-grade applications and integrations using Python.
• Enhance pricing, valuation, risk management and trade lifecycle functionality across a range of financial products.
• Build and maintain integrations with downstream accounting and master data management systems.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Risk, Middle Office and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in system enhancements, performance optimisation and production support activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience developing and supporting the Front Arena platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with AEL, ACM and ADFL.
• Excellent Python development skills, including object-oriented programming and experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and products, including Structured Products, Fixed Income and Equities.
• Experience with pricing, valuation, risk management and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience integrating Front Arena with downstream accounting and master data management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
