Senior Business Analyst – Core Banking Processes & Automation

Drive a high-priority banking transformation by bridging business needs and technical execution, with a strong focus on Core Banking, process optimization, and automation.

• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams within a high-priority transformation project.
• Analyze existing banking processes and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Re-engineer workflows with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and improved operational performance.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Support the design and implementation of automation and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing Core Banking systems and processes.
• Take ownership of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle and support prioritization from a Product Ownership perspective.
• Coordinate closely with business, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to align expectations and ensure successful delivery.
• Independently drive analysis topics, facilitate workshops, and support decision-making across the project.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and Core Banking environments.
• Solid experience in Business Analysis, including requirements engineering, process analysis, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with automation and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) initiatives.
• Experience in Product Ownership or in close collaboration with Product Owners in agile delivery environments.
• Understanding of Temenos T24 / Transact is considered a strong plus.
• Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders within complex organizational environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively bridge business and technical stakeholders.
• Independent, structured, and proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership.
• Very good English skills; German is a strong advantage.
