ABOUT US
Autovermietung ZH GmbH operates a vehicle rental business at Zurich Airport under the
Green Motion brand, with a fleet of around 160 vehicles and 8 employees. Across the entire
rental operation we use a proprietary ERP application that covers every step from the
incoming reservation through deposit handling and vehicle handover to the return of the
vehicle.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a specialist to take ownership of this proprietary ERP application — its
operation, further development and rollout to other businesses in our partner network — and
to analyse the operational data it produces for the management team.

Key responsibilities:

• Operation, maintenance and further development of the ERP application (modules,
  workflows, integrations, reporting)
• Analysis of reservation, fleet, damage and financial data, and preparation of decision
  bases and monthly reports for the management team
• Analysis and improvement of operational processes at the counter and in fleet operations
• Maintenance of the interfaces to the industry platform WheelSys and to the payment
  service provider
• Acting as the point of contact for ERP-related questions from branch and regional
  managers
• Supporting the rollout in further businesses, including training and documentation, with
  occasional travel

REQUIREMENTS

• A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable field — or an equivalent practical qualification
• Demonstrated practical experience in developing and operating a native iOS application
  in Swift (see note below)
• Experience working with operational systems and their interfaces, and with structured
  operational data for analysis and reporting
• The ability to analyse business processes and translate them into technical solutions
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to work on-site in Zurich and to travel occasionally

WHY WE REQUIRE SWIFT EXPERIENCE
Our ERP application is not purchased standard software but an in-house development of
approximately 265,000 lines of source code across 447 source files. The operational
application is built natively in Swift for iOS and is used at every workstation in daily
operations. Whoever takes on this role must be able to read, modify and extend the existing
codebase. Experience limited to using or consulting on standard ERP systems (SAP, Odoo,
Dynamics) is not sufficient for this purpose. This requirement follows from our system
landscape and not from the profile of any particular individual.

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of processes in vehicle rental, fleet management or the mobility sector
• Experience with Firebase or comparable backend services (Firestore, Cloud Functions,
  Storage)
• Experience integrating payment service providers
• Experience applying AI or automation tools to operational reporting
• Experience working with businesses across several countries
