Working Student – Data, Infrastructure & Integrations and/or AI/ML Application Development (m/f/d) (40-60%)

Rethinking consulting through applied AI
Corealis is building a structured AI platform that changes how consulting work is delivered and how our clients run their programs. Our goal is less time lost looking for information, more transparency and confidence in every decision.

Your Mission
We are hiring for two focus tracks. You apply once and tell us which track fits you better as profiles rarely cover both, and that is expected.

Track A — Data, Infrastructure & Integrations
You build the infrastructure and the data/integration layer:

• Plan, develop, deploy, test and operate our AI systems on our Azure infrastructure
• Build source connectors against official APIs, including Microsoft Graph, Jira and others
• Implement robust sync engineering: resumable backfills, rate-limit and throttling discipline, queue-driven workers
• Deploy and manage relational databases like PostgreSQL, as well as vector databases for LLMs (RAG)
• Develop and deploy MCP servers (Model Context Protocol) to expose additional tools, skills and data to our LLM systems
• Create mock source servers and integration tests to verify the resources and pipelines work correctly
• Ensure all developments and deployments are built with security and data privacy in mind

Track B — AI/ML Application Development
You build the applications consultants and clients interact with:

• Develop novel tools and software for consulting and our clients based on defined project packages
• Create autonomous AI agents and long-lasting automations to boost productivity and elimination of repetitive tasks
• Use AI-assisted development as the default: you work with modern AI coding tools daily, test against written specifications, with automated review gates
• Help to design and develop an end-to-end pipeline for AI-assisted software engineering (code generation, deployment, build, artifact/log feedback back to code and developer/AI)
• Maintain a strong interest in AI and its latest technological developments

What You Bring

• Ongoing studies at a Swiss university (Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a comparable curriculum)
• Solid Python skills and understanding of APIs, authentication flows are a plus
• Either knowledge of Azure infrastructure (track A) or knowledge of AI/ML technologies (track B) is desired
• Fluency with modern AI/LLM tooling, including AI coding assistants as part of how you work
• Basic DevOps (git, GitHub) is a must, container knowledge (Docker) is desired
• Knowledge of web development and building of frontends / UI is a plus
• Structured, system-oriented thinking
• The motivation to turn abstract ideas into practical solutions
• Language skills: German (fluent) and English (fluent)
• You are based in Switzerland (ideally Greater Zurich Area)
