Senior Project Lead – Digital Trading (FX, ETDs & PM)

On behalf of our client, an established wealth management organisation, Swisslinx is seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to drive the delivery of digital trading capabilities across foreign exchange, precious metals and exchange-traded derivatives.

• Lead requirements definition, target-state design and roadmap development for digital trading capabilities.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and coordinate solution decisions with technology teams.
• Align stakeholders across business, client and partner management, credit, trading channels, access management, regulatory functions and order management.
• Coordinate system integration, testing, migration planning and operational readiness.
• Support controlled pilots, end-user testing, feedback collection and wider rollout.
• Manage priorities, dependencies, risks and timelines to ensure production readiness.
• Drive decisions and maintain stakeholder alignment within a complex matrix environment.

Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will translate business needs into practical solutions and coordinate delivery from requirements and roadmap definition through testing, implementation and adoption.

This is a critcal role with start date in November.

• At least seven years’ experience delivering trading, execution or capital markets transformation initiatives within financial services.
• Strong understanding of FX, precious metals and exchange-traded derivatives, including electronic trading workflows, order lifecycle management and pre-trade controls.
• Proven delivery experience across requirements, implementation, launch and business adoption.
• Experience managing digital product lifecycles, including pilots, user testing, analytics, client feedback and adoption measurement.
• Practical Agile experience covering backlog management, prioritisation, user stories and release planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect business requirements and technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence decisions without direct reporting authority.
• A relevant university degree in business, finance, economics, information technology, engineering or a related discipline.

Experience in private banking, wealth management, e-banking or client-facing trading platforms would be particularly relevant. Project management, business analysis, change management or Agile certifications would be advantageous.
