For a leading international financial institution in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Program Lead – Portfolio & Position Management to support a major Core Banking Transformation Program.

Job description:
  • Lead a major Portfolio and Position Management workstream within a large-scale Core Banking Transformation
  • Take responsibility for planning, execution and successful delivery of the assigned program scope
  • Manage migration activities including testing, user change and business change
  • Coordinate closely with business, technology and other program streams
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks and delivery challenges across the transformation
  • Ensure alignment between strategic objectives, business requirements and technical feasibility
  • Act as a senior sparring partner for stakeholders and challenge existing approaches where required
  • Drive decisions, priorities and execution in a complex transformation environment
  • Ensure effective governance, stakeholder communication and progress reporting
About the customer:

In this senior role, you will take ownership of a key program stream covering portfolio and position management and ensure successful delivery across business, technology and related transformation workstreams.

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Zurich, up to 2 days homeoffice
  • Workload: 100%
  • Start: 1 October 2026
  • Duration: Until 31 March 2027
  • Contract Type: Temporary / Project-based assignment
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience as a Senior Program Manager, Program Lead or Transformation Lead within banking or financial services
  • Proven track record in delivering large and complex transformation or migration programs
  • Strong experience with migration programs including testing, user change and business change
  • Profound understanding of transaction-related core banking processes such as:
    • Order Management
    • Corporate Actions
    • Securities Deliveries
    • Loans
    • OTC Transactions
  • Strong knowledge of Portfolio and Position Management
  • Good understanding of portfolio analysis capabilities including rebalancing, allocation and performance calculation
  • Excellent planning, execution and delivery capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to challenge and align different stakeholders and workstreams
  • Project Management or Agile Product Management certification
  • Business-fluent English

Experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Core Banking Transformations or Triple'A / Temenos Wealth Management would be a strong advantage.
