Your Role
As Head Fund Operations at J. Safra Sarasin Investmentfonds, you are responsible for fund data management, cost transparency, NAV oversight and fund reporting across the full Swiss and Luxembourg fund range, and act as a member of the Valuation Committee. You will provide hands-on leadership to a small expert team, with strong data and automation skills to raise the quality and efficiency of fund operations processes (including tax related matters).
Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Fund Operations team of three employees, covering the full Swiss and Luxembourg fund range
  • Oversee the fund data flows into internal systems, ensure data quality and completeness, and manage the relationship with the system provider
  • Calculate and/or validate fund metrics, (TER, PTR, OGC, transaction costs, etc.) and manage the PRIIPs KID production
  • Act as counterpart to CACEIS on NAV data, including plausibility checks and handling of NAV errors
  • Contribute valuation decisions as a member of the Valuation Committee
  • Steer the annual and semi-annual fund reports, coordinate auditors and tax advisors, and verify fund-related invoices
  • Oversee factsheet production, monthly manager reports and recurring reporting to wholesale clients
Your Profile
  • Higher education (university / FH) in Finance, Business/Economics, Accounting or a related field
  • 7+ years of practical experience in the field of fund controlling, fund accounting, fund administration or fund audit
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss and Luxembourg fund frameworks (CISA/FINMA/AMAS, UCITS/CSSF) and experience in NAV oversight vis-à-vis a fund administrator
  • Working experience with CACEIS is advantageous
  • Experience with Python or comparable scripting as well as advanced Excel, databases and structured data (e.g. SQL)
  • Successful track record in automating data and reporting processes is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on mentality and ability to work with various stakeholders
  • Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability
  • Leadership experience is beneficial
  • Fluency in English; fluency in German and French is a plus
