Area Sales Manager Coffee UK & Nordics 100%

Area Sales Manager Coffee UK & Nordics

Focusing on the expansion of our EMEA coffee business, you will take on a central role in market development and new customer acquisition. You will be responsible for UK and  Scandinavia, playing a key part in further strengthening Haco AG's position as a development partner and manufacturer of soluble coffee products, private-label and OEM solutions.

We are looking for a Sales Manager who has a proven track record as hunter, who can win customers and who can fill a pipeline. This is a builder role.

Your customers are seeking solutions for Retail, QSR, food service or industrial applications.

Your products include soluble coffee products and liquid coffee concentrates.

Your place of work is preferably located within the target markets and is managed remotely.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • You will identify, approach and win potential customers based on our strategy, your market knowledge and your network.
  • You will manage and support the accounts you win by yourself. You are responsible for the customer end-to-end – from first contact to signed agreement as well as you will ensure ongoing support and care.
  • You will build a qualified pipeline largely from scratch.
  • Based on our strategic input and agreed targets, you will manage the market independently, including market- and competitor analyses.
  • For your segments, you will develop targeted growth strategies, create market development plans, execute them and adjust as needed.
  • You will work closely with internal departments such as Product Management, R&D, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain.
  • You are responsible for revenue, sales volume and contribution margin within jointly defined guardrails. You define the terms and conditions for your market in coordination with sales leadership.
  • You will feedback market signals like competitor activities, buyer needs, pricing benchmarks or product gaps actively back to adjust commercial strategy. As part of that you will shape a market map for your regions with competition, customers, prospects and product preferences.
  • You will represent the company at relevant trade fairs, industry events and customer events.
  • You will actively help shape the EMEA sales strategy for the Coffee business unit.

What You Bring

  • Several years of successful sales experience in an international B2B environment, ideally in the coffee, beverage or food industry. Experience in vending companies with own product range or with vending powder suppliers will work, too.
  • Proven track record in new customer acquisition as well as in building and developing markets.
  • Experience selling ingredient solutions for OEM or private label is an advantage.
  • Existing network in the international coffee industry along with sound market knowledge in the target regions.
  • Business education or degree with a focus on sales, marketing, or a comparable qualification.
  • Fluent negotiation-level English; German and additional European languages are an advantage.
  • High level of initiative, strong closing skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working, along with a strong willingness to travel within Europe.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, along with enthusiasm for building long-term customer relationships.
  • Passion for coffee, markets and international business development.

What Awaits You

  • An entrepreneurial role with significant scope for creativity and direct influence on the growth of a strategic business area.
  • The opportunity to actively help shape international market expansion in the Coffee segment and unlock new business potential.
  • Short decision-making paths and a dedicated, interdisciplinary team.
  • A flexible working model based in one of the target markets, with close connection to the team in Switzerland.
