Business Developer

HIM Business School, based in Montreux, is dedicated to shaping globally minded business professionals through a unique blend of academic excellence and practical learning.

To support our Career Services department and strengthen HIM’s relationships with the business community, we are looking for a proactive and results-oriented :

Business Development & Career Coordinator

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing new industry partnerships while supporting students in their career journey. You will combine business development, relationship management and career services activities to create new opportunities for our students and graduates.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Industry Partnerships

  • Develop and expand HIM’s network of industry partners in Switzerland and internationally, with a focus on finance, luxury, consulting, technology and hospitality sectors.
  • Identify, prospect and engage new employers through networking, LinkedIn outreach, cold calling and business development activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, alumni and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent HIM at career fairs, company visits and networking events.

Career Services

  • Support students throughout their internship and career journey, including preparation, matching and follow-up.
  • Identify career opportunities aligned with students’ profiles and aspirations.
  • Organize career initiatives and strengthen the connection between students and industry partners.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industry partnerships, business development, career services, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong networking and communication skills with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to develop relationships and create opportunities from scratch.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
