HR Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner for a 100% contract position in Basel, starting as soon as possible and running until 31 March 2027.

Job description:
  • Advise leaders, line managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters
  • Support performance management, employee relations and organisational development activities
  • Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning and capability building
  • Drive talent development initiatives, including mobility, upskilling, reskilling and career-path development
  • Partner with managers to identify cross-departmental development and collaboration opportunities
  • Provide guidance on sensitive employee relations matters and ensure fair and consistent outcomes
  • Analyse HR metrics, identify workforce trends and translate data into actionable insights
  • Build trusted relationships across the organisation and contribute to its long-term growth
About the customer:

Our client is a prestigious international financial institution offering a highly professional and multicultural working environment. The successful candidate will join the HR Business Partnering team and work closely with managers and employees across the organisation, with a particular focus on the IT department.

Requirements:
  • 6–10 years of HR experience within an international environment
  • At least 3–4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Strong knowledge of HR frameworks, workforce planning and talent development
  • Proven experience in performance management, employee relations and organisational development
  • Experience handling sensitive matters such as grievances, conflicts and performance issues
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using HR data to support decision-making
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Confident working with managers and employees at different seniority levels and from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience implementing leadership development programmes would be an advantage
