Technology & Testing Lab Support

Our client is a renowned institute based in Basel, known for its advanced solutions in the fields of medicine and implantology. Through innovative research and many years of expertise, the institute provides high-quality products and services in oral healthcare.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team immediately or by mutual agreement as a:

Job Purpose: 

Support the preparation and execution of mechanical and material tests in the Metal Testing Laboratory and other testing laboratories as needed. The role contributes to reliable laboratory workflows through careful sample handling, test support and accurate documentation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of samples and materials

• Support the execution of mechanical and material tests in the laboratory and perform as signed tests independently after appropriate training

• Support dental laboratory workflows

• Assist with post-test handling of samples and complete related documentation tasks and test records

Requirements: 

• Completed technical vocational training, laboratory vocational training or dental technician training

• Experience working in a dental laboratory setting is a plus

• Good manual skills, capable of very precise and delicate manual operations

• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)

• Good English language skills, German is a plus

• Experience working in medical device/dental industry is a plus

• Experience working with testing machines/equipment is a plus
